The America250 Celebration and the Church’s Participation

Volunteer as a Exploration Station Facilitator. The Exploration Station is a hands-on children’s activity center. Visitors can create dino rubbings, hold a real dinosaur fossil, enjoy puzzles and interactives that help make connections with our natural history galleries.

Commitment: Minimum of 3 hours per week, Tuesday - Friday as scheduled or Saturday/Sunday positions 6 hours a month

This specific call invites crocheters to make small crocheted animals (e.g., plush bunnies, bears, elephants, or other cuddly critters) to donate as "comfort companions." These handmade toys have a profound impact—children often clutch them during procedures, share stories with them in therapy sessions, or simply hug them for reassurance. Your creation becomes a tangible symbol of community love, tying directly into the foundation's mission of "hearts to hands" support.

Join us at the New AZ Veterans Resource Center, a space dedicated to honoring and supporting our veterans! We’re looking for passionate volunteers to help create a warm and welcoming environment where veterans can relax, connect, and enjoy programs and events.

Banner Baywood Medical Center is looking for kind and energetic students ages 14-18 to serve the community in various ways. For example: answering phones or even assisting at nurses stations in non-contagious areas, etc.  (Ages 14-15 need to volunteer with a parent)

The Hip hop homies (w/ Xtra Chromies)  are a dance group of adults with Down syndrome, who perform and speak at many events in the community. We need a little costume help! Alterations or simple projects mainly!
