Restock Books in a Little Free Library

Did you know that books are harder for some kids to get to than others? Not everyone has the means to purchase books when they want them, has transportation, understands how to use a library, and/or has the ability to get to a library to borrow books. That's where Little Free Libraries come in handy!

Join "Team LFL"! You'll choose as many as you would like from a list of Little Free Libraries located somewhere in Phoenix Metro to 'adopt' - which means you visit them every other week to ensure that 1. the library is full of books and 2. that the library is in good condition. Books are even provided by SWHD! And you get a cute shirt to wear while you're restocking! :)

Average amount of time volunteering over a month is 2-4 hours. Some libraries need restocking less frequently than biweekly.

Prepare Clothing and Supplies for Families in Need

Helping Hand for Aid Relief and Development is seeking volunteers to assist with preparing humanitarian aid for families in need.

Volunteers will help sort, fold, and pack donated items such as clothing and essential supplies. These items are carefully organized and loaded into containers that are shipped to communities facing hardship both locally and internationally.

This is a hands-on service opportunity that makes a real impact. No experience is required just a willingness to help and work as part of a team. Volunteer hours can be provided if needed for school, work, or service requirements.
