This year marks 25 years since September 11, 2001. The Mesa Alma Stake is honored to join our friends at St. Matthew United Methodist Church for an interfaith service of remembrance — an evening of music, prayer, and brief personal reflections as we pray for healing and peace and turn toward hope in God.

Every great shot starts with knowing where you're aiming. Join us for a morning built around goal setting — boys in the morning and girls in the afternoon -- will learn how to pick a target, make a plan, and take real steps toward something they want to accomplish. Plus games, activities, and friends.

Brothers and Sisters, With school starting up, we have the blessing, to also enjoy Seminary for our youth. All youth, in 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades are invited to attend seminary. We live in an area that has wonderful resources and locations for seminary so that every high school student has the opportunity to attend near their home or next to the high school they attend. Regardless of where the youth attend high school they are invited to attend seminary and be blessed

Next month we will hold our second stake devotional for parents. This time, we will discuss gospel principles and guidance, and practical ways that we can apply them as we work with our youth and children. While we focus on tools and helps for parents, these same principles also apply to grandparents, caregivers, leaders, and many others. We welcome and invite all who would like to attend. This evening, Laura Fabiano, Marni Fuhriman, and Sharon Parry from Communications Team attended a cultural performance hosted by Tzu Chi featuring the Taiwanese Indigenous Youth Alliance (TIYA). TIYA is an advocacy and cultural exchange organization composed of Indigenous students and young leaders from Taiwan. Their mission is to bridge generations, foster international cultural exchange, and empower Indigenous youth to bring Indigenous perspectives and advocacy skills back
