Event Report – Taiwanese Indigenous Youth Alliance (TIYA) Cultural Performance

This evening, Laura Fabiano, Marni Fuhriman, and Sharon Parry from Communications Team attended a cultural performance hosted by Tzu Chi featuring the Taiwanese Indigenous Youth Alliance (TIYA). TIYA is an advocacy and cultural exchange organization composed of Indigenous students and young leaders from Taiwan. Their mission is to bridge generations, foster international cultural exchange, and empower Indigenous youth to bring Indigenous perspectives and advocacy skills back to their communities in Taiwan.

The evening featured a beautiful a cappella performance celebrating the rich heritage, music, and traditions of Taiwan's Indigenous peoples. It was a meaningful cultural experience and an excellent opportunity to strengthen relationships within our community.

The event also provided a wonderful opportunity for Laura Fabiano

to meet members of the Tzu Chi leadership and begin building relationships with several community partners.
