I believe they will not walk out of poverty unless they pay their tithing. … Now is the season in which to establish strength in the gospel, and that involves the payment of tithing. … It is obedience to the commandment of the Lord that really matters”

Morning Fitness Program-YM

We are excited to share a summer opportunity for the Young Men of the Stake and invite your support in encouraging participation.

This summer, we will be holding a morning fitness program. Each session will include simple, scalable workouts appropriate for all fitness levels. Regardless of their starting point, every young man will find a welcoming pace.

This program is not intended to be competitive or sports-focused. The goal is to help our young men develop consistency, effort, self-discipline, and confidence while providing a positive and uplifting environment where they can grow together.

We recognize that early morning participation requires family support, and we are grateful for anything you can do to encourage and facilitate your young men’s involvement. Sessions will last approximately 20–30 minutes

Event Details:

Who: Young men of the stake, their fathers, and adult advisors.
What: Summer Morning Fitness Program.
Where: Stake Center.
When: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 6:00 AM all summer long (June 1st – July 31st).

June 8 @ 6:30pm at Stake Center Primary Room. Service Project: Prepare colored pages for Gathering Humanity, a wonderful local non-profit organization.

No special skills are needed—just come ready to help out and enjoy some great company!

Upcoming Mission Boundary Change

As part of some upcoming adjustments to local missionary labor, our stake will be transitioning from the Arizona Tempe Mission to the Arizona Mesa Mission. This change will officially take effect during the next missionary transfers near the end of June. We are deeply grateful for the wonderful missionaries from the Tempe Mission who have served our community so faithfully, and we look forward to welcoming and working closely with the Mesa Mission leadership and elders and sisters in the coming weeks!

Submit Your Service Hours since January 1^st2026

We have been asked to collect service hours for our stake members since the beginning of the year 2026. We will then submit these as part of the America250 celebration. These can be submitted by project or activity, or as a collection. Service includes formal service projects as well as any service performed on another’s behalf. Some examples include: a JustServe project, an organized community project, helping a neighbor, helping someone in need, helping at a foodbank, preparing and teaching lessons, time spent in callings, ministering, temple attendance, etc. You can submit multiple entries so you can categorize your hours as desired or a single entry that covers all your service hours.
